Camp Keith is designed for communities of color. Most US camps were created 50-100 years ago and built for suburban, mostly white populations. Camp Keith is reimagining what camp will be, starting with the camp-like family gatherings that many communities of color are familiar with, including the music, food, and activities that are familiar.

Camp Keith is intergenerational. Everyone needs connection and community (particularly after the effects of COVID-19 ) By focusing on relevant programming for multiple ages, Camp Keith will be a place for every member of the family.

Camp Keith is diverse. 50% of Camp Keithers at the youth summer camp will qualify for full or partial financial assistance.
