Family Weekend 2024
Date: August 1 - 4, 2024

What:

Designed specifically for families who want to “dip their toe” into the sleepaway camp experience, Family Weekend welcomes parents and guardians of camp-aged children (6-14) to join us for a 3-day camp sampler.

​

Children and their families will have a range of fun activities to choose from. Parents are invited to participate in a series of focus group conversations to learn about the benefits of sleepaway camp and to provide insight and feedback to inform Camp Keith’s future sessions.

Activities include:

  • Ropes Course / Climbing Wall

  • Canoeing

  • Archery

  • Hiking / Nature Walk

  • Sports: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Gaga

  • Arts & Crafts: Drawing and Painting

  • Swimming

  • STEM: Drone Training, 3d Printing, Laser Engraving

Why:

A “camp sampler” weekend offers parents and guardians of first time campers the opportunity to experience camp alongside their children. In future sessions, Camp Keith will expand into a full week long session for youth campers (ages 6-16.)

Registration:

Register for Family Weekend in the Camp Keith online portal. 

All camper forms and waivers are to be completed online and must be submitted by June 30, 2024.  â€‹

Fees and Financial Assistance

Camp Keith is a nonprofit, and we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming camp home to those who may not feel welcome elsewhere. We are committed to socioeconomic diversity. 

For this reason, no camper will be turned away for financial reasons. We will work with all families needing financial assistance so that cost is not a barrier to being a part of the Camp Keith experience.

If you would like to inquire about financial assistance, please indicate on our registration form or email us info@campkeith.org. All financial information is confidential.

 

Rates:

  • Tier 1 - This payment tier is for families who can afford the full tuition cost of Family Weekend. Please pay this cost if you are able.

    • Full Pay $365 per participant

  • Tier 2 - A partially subsidized rate for those who would like assistance covering the costs associated with attending camp, made possible by donations to Camp Keith.

    • Reduced Rate - $150 per participant

  • ​Tier 3 - A fully subsidized rate for those who would like assistance covering the costs associated with attending camp, made possible by donations to Camp Keith. To apply, please indicate during the registration process.​

Cancellation Policy

When you enroll your child in our program, you are reserving space, time, meals, supplies, and staffing whether or not your camper attends the program. If you need to cancel your registration, please see the below for guidelines:

Written Notice Before June 30: If received before June 30, 50% of your registration deposit will be refunded.  Any program fees that have been paid to date will be refunded. 

​

Written Notice After June 30: If received between July 1st to July 15th, your registration deposit is non-refundable and 50% of your program fees will be refunded. After July 15, no refund will be given on registration deposit or program fees.
